About My Approach
I have many years of experience working as a creative facilitator. I use expressive arts-based methods and group led collaboration models to foster identity development, emotive engagement, shared healing and play. I am an experienced, trauma-informed, space holder for group dialogue navigating complexity, witnessing and connection. I draw from an extensive background in the theatre arts, group games, community building and mediation training as the backbone of my work.
Background
Theater BFA Cornish College of the Arts
Theater Arts with an emphasis in acting, directing, applied theater/theater of the oppressed/community engagement and generative models.
Freehold Engaged Theater Residency
On the facilitator and production team for a series of workshops, that culminated in an original theater performance generated and enacted by a collective of penitentiary inmates. This focused on transformational storytelling and witnessing circles.
Young Women Empowered
Lead creative facilitator and mentor for an ongoing series of workshops offered to groups of young women through leadership development programming.
Power of Hope
Creative facilitator and mentor for an ongoing series of workshops offered to groups of young people through leadership development programming.
Compassionate Listening Project
Trained as a space holder and mediator for dialogue/listening circles for various communities in Israel/Palestine who are affected by ongoing conflict.
